Bharathidasan
University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up of two
major solar power plants with the Bharat Heavy Electronics-EDN, Bangalore, one
on the main premises and the other on Khajamalai Campus on Friday.
The main campus will get a 500-kWp Ground Mounted Grid
Interactive Solar PV Power Plant with all possible provisions for increasing
the power generation up to 1000 kWp.
